PEACE NEEDS ACTORS, AND IT'S US

One day I joined a peace walk and found that this was a very interesting activity where you could invite strangers to join the march. This is not about the performance or how many people joined you; this is about the peace message we deliver.

Peace cannot be achieved by one individual; it takes two to tango. Peace starts with ourselves; people cannot just believe in something; it takes one to know one and witness the work. People must be involved in something to feel it and to trust with their own eyes how the work goes.

Maybe I do not need to struggle to have peace now, but if we have love, we also need to think about other countries and other children that really need peace urgently. They lost their hope in the war; they lost their parents, their future, and almost everything. We can help them by taking action.

In HWPL, a non-governmental peacekeeping international organization, I saw that each of their steps is all about helping people create peace. I love to see how people are excited to write a peace letter, support international law, and be peace messengers around the world.

For sure, I would love to spread this kind of peace work to all of my friends. Not only the Peace Walk, but we can also do many things in this world to create peace. I am having fun exploring this peace work and why we, as youth, need to join HWPL now.
